Rev. Gerry Whetstone has been preaching for over 35 years and pastored for over 28 years prior to serving at Eastern Nazarene College as Director of Constituency Relations. In his college days at Eastern Nazarene College he served in student government positions, was active in ministries, and played varsity basketball, serving as team captain of his senior year and is a member of the 1000 Point Club. During his pastoral tenure he has served as District Nazarene Youth International President on two separate districts, District Secretary on one, and held numerous leadership positions in denominational, interdenominational, and local city organizations. He has been honored to sought after to preach/teach at retreats, camps, camp meetings, revivals, weekend meetings, conferences, leadership seminars, pastors conferences, preaching workshops, and special occasions around the country. He has an internet devotional ministry, “A Pause to Ponder God’s Word,” emailing free devotionals to those who subscribe and past devotionals are located on a web page by the same name. He and his wife, a second grade teacher, reside in Quincy, MA. They have two daughters and two grandchildren.
